Rev. Alex begins our new sermon series, 6 Lies of Satan (and why we believe them) this week.
God never calls us to stay put in comfort, but to follow him. Were the good old days really all that good anyway, or did we have problems before? The heart of this lie is that we should put our trust in the security of normalcy rather than in God himself. Christians who accept this lie look very much like the non-believers around them. In exodus they wanted slavery, but in exile they wanted Israel, in return they wanted the temple!
