Hello and welcome to the Christ Church Fox Chapel website. Thank you for taking the time to look here.

My wife Kat, son Ben and daughter Hannah moved here in early 2014 from the UK to begin a new chapter in our ministry together. If you visit our church for the first time, as we did not so long ago, you’ll find a warm welcome from some wonderful people and a community of believers who want you to experience the good news of Jesus Christ in your life. We came to this place because there is a real sense of hope here and we want that for you too.

We have found that faith in Jesus brings freedom, healing, forgiveness and the assurance of eternal life irrespective of where you have come from and what you have done. It is all for free and it all comes when you turn to him.

We recognize that people come with many different questions, that they like to take things at their own pace and that they like to experience church in all sorts of different ways but there are also some important things that hold us all together.

Our Saturday service at 5:00pm is casual and informal and the music has a contemporary feel. Just come as you are. There is also a youth group meeting afterwards.

Our Sunday morning service at 8:00am is warm and traditional using the very best of Anglican liturgy. Many people dress formally and remain after for coffee and a time of deeper study at the Adult Forum.

Our lively and multi-generational 10:00am service is somewhere in between the two with a choir and hymns from the organ as well as more contemporary music during communion.  We have four generations of worshippers all under one roof, there is children’s ministry during the service and good coffee afterwards.

At each service you will find music led to a high standard, a punchy and relevant sermon from the Bible and then we share in Holy Communion.

So why not check us out and consider making Christ Church your spiritual home, just as we have done or if you would like to know more, drop me a line using the details below.

Grace mercy and peace,

Alex Shuttleworth
