Hello and welcome to the Christ Church Fox Chapel website. Thank you for taking the time to explore here.
My wife Kat, son Ben and daughter Hannah moved here in early 2014 from the UK to begin a new chapter in our ministry together. If you visit our church for the first time, as we did not so long ago, you’ll find a warm welcome from some wonderful people and a community of believers who want you to experience the good news of Jesus Christ in your life. We came to this place because there is a real sense of hope here and we want that for you too.
We have found that faith in Jesus brings freedom, healing, forgiveness and the assurance of eternal life irrespective of where you have come from and what you have done. It is all for free and it all comes when you turn to him.
We recognize that people come with many different questions, that they like to take things at their own pace and that they like to experience church in all sorts of different ways but there are also some important things that hold us all together.
All of our services are designed to be accessible with materials printed in a bulletin. There are Bibles in church (we use the ESV) but we encourage everyone to bring their own. All baptized believers are welcome to share in Holy Communion. There are gluten-free and alchohol-free options.
Each service includes a sermon and Holy Communion, but each has it’s own distinct feel.
Casual & Simple | Saturday at 5pm
Our shortest and least formal service. Spoken with communion.
Lively & Multi-Generational | Sundays at 9 & 11am
This service combines well-known traditional hymns and contemporary music.
Check us out and consider making Christ Church your spiritual home, just as we have done or if you would like to know more, drop me a line or call the office.
Grace mercy and peace,
Alex Shuttleworth
