Once upon a time, Tami said that she would never be a teacher! However, God had other plans and graciously led her to the vocation of teaching, in which she has found great satisfaction. She has enjoyed working with young people in a wide variety of situations, from teaching toddlers about God’s love and leading elementary school kids in musical worship to facilitating middle and high school youth group outings and helping young adults prepare for college. Her two favorite titles are “Mama” (to her wonderful children, Mark and Timothy) and “Mrs. Fire” (because it’s her teacher name AND because she adores being married to Mr. Robert Fire!) Tami is very glad to be working with the children at Christ Church!
As our Pastoral Care Minister, Tami leads a Morning Prayer service every Thursday from 7-7:30 am in the Meeting House. All are welcome! She is also available for Pastoral Care visits.
